Scripture; Ephesians 2:10; For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
The mission of Christians Organizing Spiritual Togetherness (C.O.S.T.) ministry is to work within our city and community to spread the knowledge of Jesus Christ whereby souls can hear the Gospel and be reconciled back to God (2 Cor. 5:17-21). C.O.S.T. will strive to develop relationships and programs to help the community as a whole as well as individuals. C.O.S.T. is committed to uplifting God's kingdom and giving Him all the glory.
Presently we are working along with the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. We shop and store food in the church food bank. Approximately three hundred families benefit from the food bank monthly (James 2:14-18).
C.O.S.T. makes annual visits to Rehabilitation centers, Nursing homes, Assisted living centers and the Ronald McDonald house to name a few.
Each year we sponsor a Community Day; this is for the public and all church members to fellowship with each other. A chance for Christians to share with the community the ministries they serve in for the Lord (John 13:34-35).
Twice a year we organize a blood drive sponsored by the American Red Cross. Once a year we provide a Day of Giving and Thanksgiving Dinner the Wednesday before Thanksgiving for the community.
We are a vibrant and active ministry. If you have time please consider joining us because we are adding more evangelistic opportunities for you to serve, like the following:
